What will you be doing?
As our P6 Planner, you’ll support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects by developing and maintaining accurate, reliable project programmes. Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams, you’ll ensure programmes reflect how work is carried out on site, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and key milestones.
You’ll develop and manage detailed Primavera P6 programmes with robust structure, logic, and sequencing, including establishing and maintaining programme baselines. The role involves regular progress updates, collecting site information, updating actuals, and producing accurate forecasts. You’ll also assist with monthly reporting, covering planned versus actual progress, milestone tracking, and clear programme narratives.
A key part of the role is identifying critical path activities, risks, and potential delays, escalating issues early and helping the team develop solutions. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and site teams to validate assumptions and maintain high-quality, fully logic-linked schedules. The role also covers NEC contract requirements, including Clause 31/32 submissions, as well as tender programmes and early-stage planning where required.
